AFI & NIH Joint Venture

Just learned about an interesting (and pretty cool) opportunity for any and all.  In today's Washington Post, there was mention of a program offered by the American Film Institute (AFI) and National Institute of Health (NIH).  It is a six-week series of different films with a medical- or science-related theme every Wednesday.  An audience Q&A session with a guest expert follows each screening.  Admission to the series is FREE!  The movies (and topics) are:

Jul 9     -  "Away From Her" (Alzheimers)
Jul 16   -  "The Diving Bell and The Butterfly" (Locked-In Syndrome)
     Jul 23   -  "Canvas" (Schizophrenia)
     Jul 30  -  "The Quiet Duel" (Medicine/Syphilis)
     Aug 6    -  "Life Support" (HIV/AIDS)
Aug 13  -  "Reign Over Me" (Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome)

Chrissie & I hope to see some, if not all, of these.  Maybe we'll see you at the movies.
