Buy ICOH Pumpkins, Help the World

This is the twentieth year of the annual Pumpkin Patch at Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill (ICOH).  This major, more-than-a-month long, effort helps fund ALL the Outreach mission and ministry work of this parish. The pumpkins we sell come from New Mexico by the trailer truckload.  They are grown by the Navajo Indians who price the pumpkins by size for church volunteers to sell.  Also for sale are parishioner-provided breads, harvest soups, cupcakes, apple crisps, cider and other foods.

Volunteers spend thousands of hours every year to make the Pumpkin Patch at ICOH a HUGE success. Generosity in the form of donations increases the amount going to charity.  Parishioners, young and old, help unload the trucks in a "bucket brigade."  Thankfully, many hands made for lighter work.  We gladly welcomed any and all who were willing to add their hands to ours this past Sunday, October 7th.
