Rock n' Roll Still Rules

It is cool to have good friends, and it is good to have cool friends.

Last night, "The Rocker Chicks" (Jane Rosman & Chrissie) and "The Cool Dudes" (Barry Rosman & me) went to the 9:30 Club to see The Goo Goo Dolls; their opening act was Augustana.  The evening came about due to the masterful orchestration by yet another cool dude, Scott Rosman.

The 9:30 Club is a intimate nightclub and concert venue in Washington, D.C. with a capacity of 1200.  That is standing room only, folks.  And last night's show was Sold Out.  However, we benefited from tickets and VIP passes ("we're with the band") that put us in an exclusive section high above the masses with room to move about.  The music was awesome, the crowd well behaved, and the evening was a total "cool-fest".

I'm sorry I don't know The Goo Goo Dolls music better.  Most of you, if you don't already know their music, would recognize a lot of it.  These guys have been together for 20+ years, and they have a vast catalog of hit tunes.  They rock hard, have poignant lyrics, and they put on an awesome show.  The music just kept coming and coming.  It was very high energy and extremely fun!

Yes, it is very cool to have good friends, and it is truly good to have very cool friends!  Rock On!
