If You Dare It, It May Come

Living in this area, especially this time of year, weather forecasts seem to be more miss than hit.  And for people who love winter, we think that if it's going to be cold outside, it might as well be white too.  So we are quite prone to dare it to snow. Sometimes it requires that almost out n' out taunting ~ like the French on the rampart who taunt King Arthur and his brave knights of the Round Table who are on a quest for the Holy Grail.

So this week I dared to heave taunts in the general direction of that which keepeth the snow from us.

"You don't frighten us, English pig-dogs!"

"Go and boil your bottoms, sundry silly per-sons!"

"Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!"

Sometimes it works.  Others times it doesn't.  Today if did.  It's now officially winter out there.  YAY!
