Goodness Lives

In today's Alexandria-Arlington Extra section of The Washington Post is a guest column by an assistant professor at GMU.  He writes about "proof of the over whelming goodness of our world, and the people in it" as communities reached out in response to the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

Andrew Carle wrote "We are, it seems, inherently good people, caught in an imperfect world.  And in this imperfection, we are often challenged to maintain our goodness.  The challenge is to seek the knowledge that perhaps a higher being who puts us here did not do so for us to ask Him to take care of us - but so that we would take care of each other".

Amen to that.
