Google Quotes

I learned a lesson from someone's reaction to the sermon preached yesterday.  If you're going to employ a well-known quote in your sermon, and you yourself do not recall the source of said quote, a quick trip to Google (or some other reputable search engine) might be in order.

"Preach the Gospel always, and when necessary, use words".  Google says:  St. Francis of Assisi.

I believe the preacher may have lost a few people from the get-go when he did not know to whom they should specifically attribute these words.  I'll admit it didn't strike me at first when I heard him so I'll chalk my nonchalance up to "new puppy father exhaustion".
